Ah, i feel sorry for Chelsea, despite significant evidence to the contrary the truth is that they are but poor persecuted minnows who are constantly victimised by big clubs like "The Spurs" and evil match officials who have the adacity to actually try and suggest that sometimes they dive or commit fouls, which are of course only things that other clubs do.

Its a shakespearian tradgedy if you ask me.

That, or they may be a bunch of whining ****s who play unnatrractive dull football on a weekly basis.

My team are rubbish(er) this season - vexing.

We're ******* inconsistent - however, our comparative results to last season puts us only -1 on points, which is effing odd, but means we'll really have to pull our socks up soon and make sure we win the games we won on the road last season like Citeh away, Everton away... in fact, loads of teams away...

We've pissed it away from home in Europe but seem to get hassled a bit on our Premiership travels.

Yesterday was frustrating but to be honest I didn't care as I was motm for my team and was eating steak as the 3rd goal flew in.

Just thought '[composite word including 'f*ck'] it, gotta lose some day'.

Mate, I'm telling you, it's the prospect of stories about his (now ex) mrs getting bummed by the local smack dealer hitting the papers that are weighing him down!

Wasn't he about ready to bog off to Chelsea anyway until Pool fluked the Big Cup and he felt obligated to stay?

Saints are awesome at the moment. Our best squad in years, full of players proven at this level, a manager with a great track record in the division... and the best we can manage is to get dicked by Colchester and skank a draw at Sunderland. Yay.

He's not done much of anything in the last few matches... not against the l'il teams, not against the big ones... I can understand Mac keeping him about, but having somebody in the side on the grounds of what he can do is what kept Beckham in the team so bloody long...

So I'd say he should be dropped. Hargreaves and Gerrard in the middle, Lennon on the right. Club form's all good and well, but if he can't do owt for the national side...

Isn't Hargreaves leg broken?

I'd play Carrick over him anyway, Carrick's gravy.

Stevie has always been a bit of a sourpuss but he wont leave. He is a quality player and will always be linked with the big clubs.

As for him playing oy of position on the wing, it's a bit of a myth really. He played in that role for most of last season and scored 20+ goals. No one thought it was an issue then. It's hardly orthodox right wing anyway, if anything it gives him more of a licence to roam if he has the security of Alonso and Sissoko behind him.

The myth thing can apply to rotation too. Again, it worked very well last year. This year it's an issue because key players are badly off form (Carragher, Hyypia, Reina). Those are the players that were pretty much permanent fixtures in the team last year. The problem is that squad players in good form (Fowler, Crouch, Agger), get rotated for players in sketchy form like Bellamy & Aureillo.

There isn't really an excuse though, away from home Liverpool have been very poor this season and at home they hardly look spectacular. The new signings haven't gelled yet (especially Gonzalez) and the tactics seem all wrong. Losing Momo for 3 months is also a huge blow.
