X2

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Probably. But I still really enjoyed X3.

First scene of X2... maybe best opening to a superhero movie ever?

When I think about it, Christopher Nolan's a better director than Brian Singer. He's managing to reel out cool movies (The Prestige) inbetween his Batman duties.

And Memento > Usual Suspects.

Anyway, I digress.

i think X2 is probably technically better from a depth persepctive, but x3 is probably more fun.

i really liked X3, i think the reviewers were well off with it.

Plus X3 has Shadowcat goodness. And the Beast. And way more Collosus. And less James Marsden. And cool Prof X obliteration. And Rogue actually gets a senseible ending to her strife rather than everyone judging her as some kind of traiter every time she tries to do something about it.

Hmm, on the xmas list i think.

I bought the Xmen box set with X3 - I find that X2 is a better 'film' so to speak, it feels more complete, and the characters seem to have more depth to them. there more meat on the bones.

X3, i love the bit with Captain Picard getting blown apart, and the final sequence between Logan and Jean is one of the best I have ever seen. coupled to an amazing bit of atmospheric opera music I so love - SW return of the Jedi, Luke V vader; does the same thing.
