If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

wasnt there a rumor floating about that Firefox was to be bought up by MS?
Will we still need 'web browsers' if Vista intergrates web brwosing safely within its OS Browser?

yes - because i want the choice and the options to be able to do stuff that Micro$haft might not allow me to. IE as it stands at the moment is fairly uncustomizable (compared to Firefox)... if it gets integrated into the OS you'll have even less options because of security and such like.

I wonder how customisable *sp you can make an OS intergrated web browser?
Perhaps if MS screened the plugins? (not that, that means much)
