George Galloway lets rip

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

George Galloway lets rip

Spotted this on a tottenham website (wonder why(!)).

http://news.sky.com/skynews/video/video ... 06,00.html

I dont know loads about him, but I think he is phukking mint to watch once he gets going - I like him because from what I see he seems a man that sticks to his logically weighed up principles and I love watching a man point out hypocracy.

(from two members from the website I saw this on):

"He is a bully and a demagogue. Strangely, he is also, in his own terms, a fiercely principled man who always tells the bald truth as he sees it.

He says a lot of unpalatable things about Israel, many of which (I am sad to say, being Jewish) are true. He ignores a lot of equally unpalatable truths about the Arab world. He points out many things that Tony Blair would prefer us to ignore about America.

He is a genuine old style socialist, an arrogant and vain man and he hangs out with some people whose corrupt habits have tainted his reputation. But I do not believe for a moment that he is personally corrupt.

And I will forgive him nearly anything for the way he cuts through cant, bullshyt and hypocrisy when crossing swords with likes of George W Bloody Bush. Or the scumbags at Sky News, for that matter."

"People always say how his facts are wrong and corrupt, but you never hear them disproved do you... no one has actually proven the facts he gives to be wrong... and I would rather him shouting facts than blair's spin, as would most people

the way he tore into shreds the accusations of the senate committee last year was brilliant also - there were eight senators there and they had absolutely no answer to his logic."

I think he's a pretty loathsome scumbag personally. The fact he rips into other scumbags doesn't exhonerate him imo.

The guy makes several good points. I have to ask, though, did the US really given several (or any) nuclear missles to Israel?

i think he did a good jpb of proving what a self absorbed, slef important bully he us on Celeb BB.

i also think he appoints himself as a spokesperson for people without actually checking that they want him to.

ergo i have little or no time for him.

What I've seen of him, personally, I am very impressed.

Impressed with his courage to speak out, and even more impressed by his ability to capture an audience as a speaker.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

At the end of the day, it's his impression of Rula Lenska's pussy he'll be best remembered for.

A common social skill among moustache-bearing politicians...

Usually, I flip through the news channels and find most speakers boring. I had never heard of Mr. Galloway, but I have to admit, I was mesmorized by this mans eloquence and speaking ability the first time I caught him on the tele. Very impressive.
