Resident Evil 3.5

As a huge fan of the Resident Evil games, I thought this was really cool-it's the second version of what would become RE4.

I'm not overly keen on the paranormal aspect though. I always liked that RE was science based-if I wanted a dose of supernatural horror in a similar vein I could always play Silent Hill. The little dolls and the 'Hook Man' are great ideas, and I found them both quite scary and disturbing, but to me they just don't fit -apparently the Hook Man will be appearing in RE5, so I suppose it remains to be seen whether he'll be paranormal in nature or not (although, RE4 had the possessed suits of armour in it, so I guess that they're working the supernatural angle in-at the moment, I really can't recall if they've ever gone down that route in the past).

I'm really looking forward to number 5-hopefully it will be something spectacular seeing as it's going to be on the PS3. Oh, and zombies, please.

Has anyone else seen the res evil arcade 3D ride thingy, exterminator? Its absolutely fantastic and two of you can sit in for a mere 500 yen at my local arcade.

I friend of mine is a big Res Evil fan as well.
He is quite frustrated that there will be a Resident Evil 5 for the Ps3 - and another Resident Evil for the Wii.
He want's to play them both, but will most likely not be able to afford both systems
