If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

In my opinion, this was Kevin Smith's best movie to date. If he wanted to retire the entire Viewniverse, this would be phenominal ending. I was not prepared for the direction Smith took the movie in. There was very little fan service. Characters didn't spout off (or even obviously reference) events from the other films. With that said, though, when the most famous line from the original film is finally uttered, it's done so for an incredibly satisfying reason. There is some genuine heart in this film.

Kevin Smith's going to be at Wizard World Chicago this year. I believe I may just thank him for the most satisfying 90 minutes of theater-going I've had this year.

Oh, and the Transformer stuff in the flick...BRILLIANT!

I'm really eager to see it - but I doubt the movie'll come to Sweden.
I'll just have to wait for the DVD.

Its a long time till October, Brend. Are you sure it not sooner? I'll be tempted by nasty pedlars of illicit DVDs in the meantime.

Me neither. Mt mate James downloaded it and said the film "Spoke to me" in such a direct way as well as the fact it made him pee himself laughing. He's kinda liked (but not loved) previous Kevin Smith films but he said this one is genius.
