If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Nice, smart guy. I'll be there with you (as grad, not in England/Tokyo) in (counts) 22 days.

you're all very kind, it really means a lot. I worked so hard in my final year, and was expecting a 2:1- I couldn't believe it when my transcript said I'd managed a first. My individual study got 73%! I put a lot of work into it though, it was the best part of 200 pages long... thank you to everyone here who participated in that btw, you were a great help
I get to graduate in November in Canterbury Cathedral! The Archbishop himself shall be there! o.o
Now I have time to devote to job hunting and possibly molestrangler

I heard rumours of a Transfest and it wouldn't be Transfest without Molestrangler... (to be accurate, it might be better without but that's not the point

)

Don't you just hate the way some universities have to wait a quarter of a year to have their cermonies, while some can have theirs straight off?
Mine (UWE/Bristol) was in November just gone, my sister's (in Plymouth) was December the year before that, but a friend of mine who was at Cardiff had his last week!
Well done to you, and I hope the bill for your gown, etc. won't be that hefty.

Congratulations Karl! I see you even made a new Sig!

This means that you're as clever as a Rebis!
No, seriously, I am rather impressed with your intelligence here, you have always been very articulate, but that you were this clever I did not know.
Also: Do ya need a colourin'-monkey for the Transfest-special, eh?
