Most spellings derive from meaning, not phoenetics. How the [composite word including 'f*ck'] do these wankers plan to cope with phoenetically identical words which are spelt differently to distinguish between their meanings?

Of course it doesn't help that most Americans can't pronounce the words that they do spell right anyway...

Great. Now we have to learn English twice. First the normal language, and then the one that they have invented to make it easier.

If foreigners can learn English, why can't native-English people?

The thing I find most disgusting is that they want our KIDS to learn this. What purpose will that possibly serve? Make an employer laugh out loud in the persons face when they fill out a rezoomay.

Its like they want the future generations to become complete ******* morons. And to what end? Too make life easier in Elementary school and Middle school? Yeah, cause God knows those were the hardest years. College was a breeze compared to spelling tests. FFS...........

Belive it or not, schools tried this in the late 60's/early 70's. Of course, when the entire concept was declared obscenely stupid, the poor bastards who'd been taught this had one hell of a time catching up after being taught that way.
