Funny **** in London.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Instead of creating a new thread, I ninja edited the first post in this one.

I also bumped it.

Don't know if it's allowed.

There's this place:

The Griffin
125 Clerkenwell Road, LONDON, EC1R 5DB
Tel. 08713325391

http://www.fullpint.com/fullpint/showpub.php?pubid=404

From the exterior, the Griffin is a mangy old pub that you'd not normally bother with.

However, inside the hot naked girls make it well worth going to. Just save up your pound coins for the collection jar and watch them dance!

Brown's in Old Street is a similar type of venue, but the girls are better-looking.

So I was, er, allegedly told.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Okay, she'll want to go to Oxford Circus then. That's where all the girly shopping is, she can pop into Liberty's which is a big department store, then browse the shoe-shops and fashion outlets of Carnaby Street.

Her boyfriend, meanwhile, can relax in an old and traditional English pub such as the Blue Posts in Kingly Street (a mere stone's throw from both Liberty's and Carnaby Street) where Mrs. Emvee will serve him the refreshing alcoholic beverage of his choice.

Sound good?

Yeah the Camden Lock markets are well worth a visit, you can buy literally anything there. Just get off at Camden Town tube station and follow the herds of tourists wandering aimlessly up the high street, stopping every ten steps to look at something they've spotted on a stall or to buy fake drugs from the street dealers.

Or, as I do, go to Camden Town tube station, go directly to the Good Mixer pub, and sit there with a pint while you think about shopping.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Yes, even old Transformers comics - and there's a stall in the Stables Market that has an original boxed Magnus and Galvatron. I bought Chainclaw there the other week :p Bit pricey though.

There's a decent blues club two or three doors down from the Post.

Catch some plays, for sure. The Donmar Warehouse by Covent Garden, on the same stop, usually has something odd and controversial. Spidey would know more about that. Or Time Out London.

I'd assume trouble involves drunken guys finding these women more attractive than the others and therefore having extra reason to brawl to keep other guys away from their respective 'babe'.

I enjoy the market and the second hand shops in Nottinghill, always spend a fortune there. but as regards clubs, I enjoyed The Mean Fiddler on Tottenham Court Road or thereabouts, it's rock and other such fun, tho unfortunatley that might not be to everyone's taste, didn't find anymore like it in my time, tho that was a short time and rarely got past the pubs I was used to.

This run-on sentance has been brought to you by der2.

Oh and ice skating in Queensway.
