Hold on, Predabot's right.Legion wrote:it works by one going to a pub/bar and consuming alcohol, pretty much the same as any other day really...Predabot wrote:Midweek?? How does that work?? With your boss on your job and all that.Best First wrote:or can do midweek some time.
How can anyone go to boozing midweek, when it's obviously a 'schoolnight'?
We must use our collective political might and campaign to close all pubs, bars and clubs during the week, so as not to encourage people to have alka-sickies the day after.
In fact, as people work at the pubs, bars and clubs, they won't be able to participate on the weekends (The alka-weekend comprising friday evenings and saturdays only. Sunday is a 'schoolnight' after all!) as they'll be working, so we must close the pubs, bars and clubs on those days too to avoid their staff pulling alka-sickies.
Actually, as noone will be able to buy or sell alcohol (to prevent alka-sickies) let's do away with this alcohol business altogether and all live in our sweaty apartments not utilising our hot and cold running tee-total ignorances.

Sounds like a plan Rebis!
But seriosly, if Besters shows up at work after this, he might very well still be under the influence, hardly having the time to "sleep it off". Surely this is a bit of a risky business, for any employee?
Either that, or he's not going to make it up in the morning, and be hours late for work. Again, risky.
Or... is it the ol' routine I've heard mentioned..? "Cough cough" and all that.

Dear God in His High Heaven, Rebis, this is beautiful. It's the sarcastic equivalent of D-Day.Rebis wrote:Hold on, Predabot's right.Legion wrote:it works by one going to a pub/bar and consuming alcohol, pretty much the same as any other day really...Predabot wrote: Midweek?? Are you this dry when drunk?
"You're not going to have another one, Paul? Besters, you have work to go to tomorrow! You have to, it's work, what else can you do? You can't have another drink! Why are you having another drink when you have work tomorrow! It's a weeknight, Paul!Predabot wrote:Multi-post!Obfleur wrote:I love the fact that Predabot is sticking his nose in this.
Are you going to the pub with them or something?
But really.. would it be so bad if I was? Would it??
And I think it is quite unfair that I have had to buy all my own drinks, and that you are making me sit over here at this table next to the toilets! Lads! Lads! Where are you going?! Don't do anything too risky! Same time tomorrow? Lads?"
