If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

or rather, my boyfriend has one.
Just started to play Animal Crossing, which is quite fun.
Maybe I will buy some more games later on, was thinking about Harvest Moon

when they make it for the DS, or maybe a nice puzzle game. Or something with a bit more action, like a racing game. Or Sims2 if that's a nice one.
Does anyone have any good recommendations? I don't like war-games, or games with too much shooting/violence, or adventure games because I always get stuck after five minutes.

Don't have the thing and am completely useless when it comes to recommendations, but I have to say that both theses games are very odd, but fun.
Animal Crossing especially... Crazy, crazy addictive game. I couldn't stop playing it when it first came out.

Harvest Moon is more fun than farming has any right to be.

That's what I was hoping for!

It should be out on the DS later this year.
Impy, I'll check out this mario game, thanks!
But why are these games so idiotically expensive? It's just a tiny piece of plastic.

Mario and Luigi Partners in Time is great

It's an adventure game though - but it's 100% straight forward.
Can't believe I'm still here.

I will recommend Brain Training, Meteos and Nintendogs!

All good and fun games where there isn't even a shred of violence.

I got one as well, several days after release (stupid US Mail). I now have..
Brain Age
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Sonic Rush (JUST got it 30 minutes ago, its unopened even)
I'd reccommend the top 3 to you Eline. I assume the last one would leave you 'stuck after 5 minutes'
I have to say the New Super Mario Bros game is fairly fun but its also pretty short, unless you want to play EVERY level, even the easily skipped ones. I beat it in a few days worth of minor effort.

For some strange reason, we got them two days before the release.
Thanks for the recommendations, guys! I'll go to the store and check if we have these.
