I avoided it for so long. But as of today, I'm a motorist. Bought myself a Lincoln Towncar Presidential. V8. All leather interior. Power everything. And, most importantly, enough room to fit the five people who will be using it to drive to BotCon this September.
After driving to work today, I must say that I don't see this becoming a regular practice. I much prefer biking and jogging.

Ooh, car=neat.
You know what, I don't usually really like vehicles in general nowadays... useful to get around in when it's wet/distance travel and whatnot, but my feet usually work just fine for most things. Lately however, I'm thinking I may need one eventually.
On a side note, I got to ride around in my aunts' brand spanking new 05 Mustang this spring... it causes a lot of acky contradictions in my head. On the one hand, I've got the treehugger in me arguing that it's a gas-guzzling evil thing, but on the other I've got the five-year old in me telling me that the treehugger is boring and that the Mustang is a ******* VEHICLE.
I'll admit that I was like a five-year-old at Christmas with it and would so, so love to drive it around for awhile.
