My teeth could kick your ass.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

My teeth could kick your ass.

You're not a real man unless you've had your wisdom tooth extracted, with your mouth soaked in novocaine THAT STILL WASN'T ENOUGH. AARGH.

It started out as a normal checkup, or at least that's what I told the receptionist (who's at least a C), hoping to save a bit of money. Turns out that the throbbing that's been bugging me for weeks was a wisdom tooth that was about to reach the three-figure-dental-bill level, and naturally had to come out faster than insert-gay-joke-here.

After switching from one tool to another, and waiting till the last minute to bring out the suction thingy, the dentist finally pulled out that dang tooth AND A HUNK OF BONE WITH IT. Good for sowing in the Aegean fields and raising one skeletal warrior - complete with an M60.

You do not mess with the teeth.

Have had 3.5 of mine extracted... what does that make me? ;)

Did your face swell up, or did they give you the anti-pearface stuff?

Pah. I had my tooth drilled out for a filling with NO anaesthetic.

Back in the old days I pulled them out with my own hands.

...granted these were milk teeth...

No swelling involved - they had this strawberry-flavored stuff that prepped for the novocaine needle, not that either did a lot...

Please note :o : Scientific studies has shown that yes, if you are scared and see the objects of imminent pain, you actually FEEL more than you ussually do, the brain ultra-charges the nerve-ends and focuses your ass on suffering.

Conclusion: Please take the laughing gas instead of novocain, since the novocain must be in double the dosage when the nerve-ends are charged with an extra amount of electric activity. Or just hit yourself on the head so you pass out.

Reminds me of the time when I had four front teeth pulled out without painkillers. [/kup]

I actually laughed when they stitched up my wisdom holes a few months back. The fact that they almost dislocated my jaw when extracting the wisdom tooth and its badly-shifted neighbour didn't let its presence be known until a few hours later....

Having my top two wisdom teeth out tomorrow. Perhaps this time there'll be some swelling.
