I'm going to Hultsfred Festivalen for three/four days now.

I know that nobody cares

But I'm gonna see The Strokes live and that rocks.

Also, I won't shower for at least four days, which always a great feeling.

Hope everyone else'll have a great weekend as well.

Next time you post a topic with that kind of finality in the subject, you'd best really be leaving, or I'll go to Sweden and hunt you down! After convalescing for a few weeks first.

I, myself, will be spending a couple of hours of Friday night in a tent, followed by a few minutes (x several) being launched into the air in a glider before dawn's early light reaches the ground.

No hard rocking going on there, though.

The Blue Epoch.

Previously, there have been two Grey Epochs and a White Epoch.

The Dark Age was the most recent of the Lower Grey Epoch, the Golden Age was the oldest of the Upper Grey Epoch, and there have actually been two Green Ages: The Lower Green Age being the most recent of the Upper Grey Epoch, and the Upper Green Age being the current and oldest of the Blue Epoch.

All this only glances the surface of the TransFans Era, btw.

Thanks everybody - hope everyone had as fun this weekend as I did

The Strokes were awesome.
Pharrel was a big surprise.
Babyshambles gave me an experience I thought I'd never get to see.
Pete Doherty was really ****** up on drugs and what not and did some crazy **** like throwing his borrowed guitar right into the audience,
Later when he got the guitar back it was untuned, so he just threw it on the floor (thus breaking it), and took the other guitarist guitar and mashed it up a bit. He also trashed a couple of microphones, fell of the stage (and couldn't get up again) and spat water on the camera crew, etc etc.
The whole thing was like a light version of Kurt Cobain.

He's like a Lucas & Walliams version of Iggy Pop.

If only he'd spent less on drugs and more on actual post-production on the Babyshambles album.

So they went out in Stockholm and went to a club (Debaser) and said "Hey. Let us play here. All we want is beer!"
Pete laid on his back and sang most of the gig. He also fell of the stage and injured his back.
He started trashing the place and refused to stop singing, so a couple of bouncers had to wrestle with him for a bit. The manager of the club also cut the power.
Pete got thrown out - he then decided it was a good idea to take off his clothes and just walk around half naked in the streets chasing after girls.

He has talent. In his current state it's virtually impossible to display that tho.

But Dirty Pretty Things might indicate that Carl was the talented one. Dunno.

I actually met Carl Barrat once, and told him he was the real talent in the Libertines and that Pete was a **** before my friend wrestled my drunk arse away.

Yeah. There's some decent music buried under the feedback and wankery somewhere... the BabyShambles album could have been half decent if they'd actually bothered finishing it...
