Satanism

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Nope, you're wrong there.
Wikipedia wrote:Asherah (from Hebrew אשרה) generally taken as identitical with the Ugaritic goddess Athirat was a major northwest Semitic mother goddess.
Wikipedia wrote:Baal (ba'al) is a Semitic title and honorific meaning lord that is used for various gods, spirits and demons particularly of the Levant.
The Caananites were specifically not Semitic as they were descended from Ham rather than Shem, after whom the Semitic peoples were named. Hadad (most commonly called Ba'al) was a Caananite god, but there were plenty of other Ba'als to go around, including Melqart, Ba'al Pe'or, Ba'al Hammon...basically in those days there were a whole load of gods knocking about and any combination of them were worshipped by a lot of different Semitic tribes. There are Hebrew inscriptions to "Jehovah and his wife Asherah", for example. The "one true god" thing didn't come along until much later.

And while I was wrong about the fires there, It's interesting to note that Elijah was also a mass-murdering ****head.

That's 450 priests he had slaughtered for not agreeing with him. Nice.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

My days of not taking you seriously are certainly coming to a middle.
