Radiohead.
They're coming to LA and San Diego this month. Tix for San Diego going for 69 american bucks. LA for one hundred and ten.
Going to see them would entail driving to California from Utah, the space of some ten hours and the cost of a lot of gasoline, as its 3$ a gallon right now. I have many friends in/around LA, but none in/around San Diego.
There is absolutely no f***in' way I can afford this. So why am I thinking about it?
I think it's the lazy eye. I envy Thom Yorke his fame and talent, but I can't hate him cuz... look at it! It's just cute!

If this won't put you in debt for a year, I'd say go for it. Can you work extra, or don't buy clothes/comics/toys/etc. for a month or something?
You'll have lots of fun, especially if you do the roadtrip with a friend.![Smile :)](images/smilies/smile.gif)
(and $3 for a gallon is amazingly cheap! You'd pay double here.)
EDIT: what about getting this a a birthday present from your parents/friends or someone else? We just gave festival tickets to one of my friends on his birthday party.

All you need is a friend to split the cost of gas. Or maybe you could sniff out a train route and then try and get around LA by bicycle. lol
Radiohead's touring, but no new album? Arrghh!

I'm not a huge Radiohead fan, but Thom Yorke has my respect.
I saw them supporting R.E.M (musically, in concert-they hadn't formed a human bridge or owt), and I was a few rows from the front. There was this annoying ginger kid with no shirt on, and sunburn that made him look like he'd been microwaved, who insisted on jumping around screaming 'Thom! THOM!' at the top of his voice. Thom stopped what he was doing, looked at the kid, and gave him the finger.
That shut the prick up.
