Hey guys, a sad farewell..

After being on and off at Transfans for years now, i'm having to say bye to you all.

It all started a couple of weeks ago when completely out of the blue the graphic design firm I work for told me they could no longer afford to keep me on. If that wasn't so bad, it happened at a time when we were in negotiations to buy a house in the area, so lost some money from that, because there is nothing around here job-wise we're having to move and go back to renting.

Also it made it more difficult as my partner also recently finished her job and has had to take one on less money.

But it has led me to re-evaluate my life and take stock of what I have. I have a beautiful partner and a whole world of things I can do, and i've decided that I am going to take a teacher qualification and become a design and technology teacher. But as money is going to be incredibly tight my computer is going to have to be sacrificed, as is the internet when we move.

As I do say farewell I would like to thank all of you who have been such a source of entertainment throughout the years, whether it be impys quest to become a mod, or obfleurs strange mind, I have enjoyed talking to all of you and that it has been such a great few years.

you take care mate - We might not speak for a while but Transfans im sure will always be here, I wont be a mod even when you come back but hey!

Im sure we will see you again soon, good luck with everything in the time being and im pretty sure things will turn around for you.

I hope it works out for you. I've been some through some rock bottom times over the past few years and if it hadn't been for my housemates' broadband I would have been missing from here for extended periods too. It's great that you have someone to help you through this and I wish you all the best - just remember that there are tons of jobs out there and all you have to do is find one that suits you. And pays enough so that you can afford t'internet.
