Transfer season underway

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I think Rosicky'll be a good signing.

But I thought the Arse were in more need of a strong experienced defensive midfielder?
Can't believe I'm still here.

next season they will get treated the same way - and they will have less experience to back them up. 5th.

Rosicky looked like he was going to be the dogs, one of the top top players a few years ago. Still an asset but contributed nowt major for 2 years.

Thing about him is he is waif like. The Premiership is going to batter him physically - he really needs to properly prepare or risk being a failure. Has a lot of potential though.

Wenger can get the best out of players though, so he's one to watch out for - replacing Pires I think. I agree that Arsenal really need a top class 'enforcer' though, one with a bit of grace on the ball.

In comparisson, we've just paid through the nose for Berbatov. Now he looks absolutely **** hot and I cannot wait to see what he does for us.

So was Henry, Pires and Petitt when we brought them.

And some of he youtube video's show a player who has technique, skill, passing and pace when show far more than mearly average. Give him time to adapt and he could be awesome.

I'd still love a strong dominate midfielder, Gerarrd type, and a world class centre back. A another high scoring forward too. With that and Fabregas, Hleb, Clichy, van Persie, Toure, Senderos and Eboure emerging as class acts and if Reyes and Ljungberg play like 2 seasons ago then we are potentially at our best again.
