IGN: The top 25 X-Men

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Plus, disparaging a character doesn't mean they aren't central to a myh, it just questions where they fit into it.

Cyclops 'dullness' is part of what makes him interesting, he's repressed as hell and has nothing else in his life except a questionable dream.
Yeah, he's really dull on his own, but he's the character that's most essential to the X-Mens' mythology. Removing him from X-Men history would do more damage than removing any other character except, perhaps, Professor X himself.

Oh, I don't question that he's an integral part of the group dynamic... he's sort of the cornerstone leader dude guy. Of course he's dull and dishwater and I absolutely hate him, but still... it's not really the X-Men without him standing there being boring.
Grrr. Argh.

Eh, they did all right when Storm had a mohawk and led them.

Stormhawk... Storm had a mohawk...
