For many years Ive been collecting tfs and going throughout all the city. In that time Ive come to know a few collectors (and been known in the somewhat little market we have here). Last 2 years, because of the net (mainly as the mod of one of the Tfs forums in my country) and other media, Ive met a few more and started to thinking of organizing and making a Transformers Club here in Peru.
We ve had many meetings last year, and weve had 2 formal ones this. Ive tried to show many of "the new ones" where to buy, reading the comics and distributing as much as I can of the available information. Right now we are like 10 to 15 regular assisting members. And we are preparing with the movie as a the deadline for our "official" establishment
Now we are thinking of the probable name we will have as a group (on Saturday on our 3rd meeting we will set that), talking of having a website a forum (of ours) and organizing different activities.
What do you suggest we do? Should I write to hasbro (transformers.com) and ask for any kind of sponsoring or acknowledgment (like a ok, you are the official group there)? Do anything at all? What we should not do?
Any opinion will be appreciated.
Thnx!
