I thought it was an een contest, what I didnt understand - and somthing the commentators kept harping on about was why Spurs played Defoe on his own against Rio and Vidic. seemed like it wasnt going to give him much luck against them too.

In all honesty, as nuts as this might sound, as United drew to Sunderland my last hopes of beating Chelski had gone, so id rather see spurs in 4th than Arse

I cannot believe Defoe didn't score, he had some great opportunities.

yeah he did miss a few sitters, then again so did Ruud, plus he hit the upright nicely.
