I miss my home area, more accurately. The city I grew up next to... I owned that town, I did. Walk from one end to the other... the summer events, the park, the sun, the lake in the park, the flowers, the grass... the stuff my family did during the summer...
This city is dirty, noisy, it's making me lazy and has given me a lot of bad habits. I probably need to detox, or something. My liver is probably pickled by now.
... Dunno if this thread has a point, really... I just felt like going "Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" for a moment in public.
And to share this awesome photo. Simply because I forgot I had it up until about an hour ago, when I was thinking about last summer and remembered I had it online.
Taken in a little park-area in the city I wuv, not too far from the park I'm babbling about missing so much. I wasn't the one who tipped it...
Is it not an awesome photo? Porta-potty, knocked over! Wooo!
The park. Ahhhh... MY park, dammit. My park had nice minty ice cream. And evil seagulls. Bad, evil, noisy dirty seagulls.
And late summer... berries! There was so much to love about that little strip of land, it's unbelieveable and I miss it so much right now.
I want good memories about places. Yesssss. There's a good idea... Post 'em here, g'wan.
Or pretty photos, as long as you don't mind me stealing them if they're scenery. I like scenery.
'nother pic, for the hell of it...
Fall at home, just wasting film in a camera. Kinda blurry, but still pretty.

Go ahead. Anytime. Always helps.saysadie wrote:... Dunno if this thread has a point, really... I just felt like going "Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" for a moment in public.
If you're not mentally the healthiest person here, I don't know who is.

I know exactly what you mean. I hail from a small town of less than 10,000 people in the mountains. There is no rush hour traffic. Hell, there are hardly any buildings. And the seasons! Absolutely gorgeous.
Unfortunately, I will be taking a position in a bigger city. After having lived in Boston, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Richmond, I have come to the realization that I prefer the natural scene. But sometimes ya gotta do what cha gotta do.
"But the Costa story featuring Starscream? Fantastic! This guy is "The One", I just know it, just from these few pages. "--Yaya, who is never wrong.

Well, you've got the mental part right.Rebis wrote: If you're not mentally the healthiest person here, I don't know who is.
Bit of a thing to assume there considering you only know me from the internet. But I'll stop dissecting everything and say thanks now.

I've actually nipped a couple of those pics from you in the past, tbh. Pretty.
