Boro

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

its not ideal.

So near yet so far, scoreline is pretty harsh but they were the better side by quite a streach, we were far too nervy. Boatang had a bit of a shocker. we should have gone at them much harder in the first third of the game, they weren't the kind of side you want to go down to as theri defence was outstanding, notably unruffled when we slapped on 4 strikers, unlike Basle and Stua.

That penalty would have been nice but to behonest i'm of th eopinion that if you need decicions to go your way to win then you haven't played well enough anyway.

this article cheered me up sligtly:

its still been one hell of a season, although it seems ridiculous that we got to the uefa cup final but have not even managed to make it into teh competition next year.

i think, on reflection Maclaren has definitely left us in a much better hape than when he arrived, he future looks vaguely promising and with the right manager (i'm hoping O'niel) hopefully we can go places. i'm still very proud of the team (in that stupid way fans are of things they ahve no control over) for having got that far.

up the boro.

I read that Boro played 64 games this season.
That's an awesome amount of games.
Can't believe I'm still here.
