Doctor Who series 2

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

The trailer is available at the bbc Doctor Who site. I'd post a link but I'm kinda in a rush!

1 minute web exclusive episodes will be on there for each episode too. The first is already up!

The next 3 little hardbook books in the tie-in novel series just arrived here yesterday, with Mr. Tennant on the cover alongside Billie Piper. Pretty cool pics, all looks good. One of them has the Thames Barrier on it, I think it was.
Nice little packages those books...although I haven't actually read any of them.

The first one's kinda average (but a huge huge improvement on Raynor's last book), and the first half of the second one is too. That's as far as I've read to date. I'm still convinced that the only two of the new series tie-in novels are good enough to label "good reads" are Only Human and Stealer of Dreams.

It's very much aimed at the younger market but has a certain charm (and the comic is undemanding silly fun). Apparently the first Doctor Who was a old man
