I just saw a X-Men 3 trailer.
It was awesome. My underwear is all creamy.

I don't know where to see it online though

And my computer is acting up.
But it is there somewhere.

ok, having just watched the new trailer ive just cum in my pants - apart from my wife Famke Janssen staring in the main role, that looks so totaly ******* awesome I think im going to explode in stick white love piss again!

Lots of rumours floating around about the film being rushed and generally not of good quality.

Too much Halle Berry

And the biggest reason is probably because the quality of the xbooks has gone down so much in my estimation.

I hope the film is good, I really do.

The previous films - from the man who brought you The Usual Suspects!

The new film - from the man who brought you Rush Hour! With Halle Berry in a central role! And Vinny Jones!

Well, my opinion of this movie swings pretty often, there's always something bad to the good.

At the moment, with this here new trailer, I'd say it's swinged into the more positive side.

Trailer had lots of kicksplode and was fun.

What was shown also seemed to back up every single story and script leak.

This leads me to currently think that the story is indeed going to be the awful script that got leaked, but that many attempts at covering up the awful with the kewl have been made, specifically, the large amount of kicksplode and hawt people in leather outfits.

Go in expecting that and hopefully be positively surprised is where I'm at with it...

I'm thinking that a X-Men 3 that is filled with explosions and action is logical.
I mean, in X-Men and X-Men 2 there's been a lot of talk about the "war between humans and mutants" and "people are trying to start a war" and "the war is coming!"

It would be pretty crappy if X-Men 3 was the same **** all over again: someone wants a war -> X-Men swoops in and saves the day.

So story wise I think it works

Maybe the war is between the fans who think the movie will be TEH AWESOME and the fans who think the movie will be TEH SUCK?

Or between those who think the hats should be red, and those who think the hats should be blue?

Thematically, sure.
But there are also some supposed large plot beats in 3 that are identical to those in 2 (poss spoilers so in tiny text) like the X-Men's leaders being removed from the equation early.

Tho I was talking about more specific things when I said the story leaks I read were bad. But there's a lot that can be made up for with a good director and FX team that a script doesn't give you. I think the most detail of action bits in the thing I read were 'Magneto flips car' and 'Storm does her whirlwind attack'.
Anyway, in the eye of the beholder and all that. Still hopeful and looking forward to seeing it.

Right, I've just managed to get it working. Had to use IE to do it, so everybody's on my shitlist now.

No sound as yet (no speakers!) - but it all looks very glossy and kaboom.

Looks fab in some places... cheese in others. I still don't buy Ian McKellen as Magneto, though. And yes, this is a problem I had with the other films too.

He looks too skinny for me. And I think the helmet looks silly. Mags should be bulkier... I dunno, it just doesn't work for me. He captures the character, I just don't buy the appearance.

Though he doesn't look as daft as Vinny Jones. Juggernaut should TEH HUGEZ0R5

and its based on what ive seen, lets think.

All we have seen looks good - so based upon that, everything else is rumor.
