Can you give us any more news on when we might expect the Paul Cornell relaunch of Excalibur to be occurring, and is there a regular artist yet assigned to the project?
Is it true that Excalibur will no longer be an 'X-title' when it relaunches with Paul Cornell writing? Does this mean there will be no mutant characters on the team?
NL: I’m not ready to talk about this at length, but I’ll tease you with this. Another very important British character will be showing up in Paul’s book. And it’s going to rock.
No, wait... Union Jack. That would be awesome. It might even make up for the loss of Brian if Claremont really keeps him.

Don't really know where else to put this, so here's a pic of me, my girlfriend, and some guy who came to my party dressed as Rorscach:

Thanks, sprunk, and I understand, Reb. I'm a Marvel Zombie anyway.
But my girlfriend is a Wonder Woman fan (from the TV show days). So then naturally she wanted me to be a superhero and the comic geek/OCD side of me wouldn't be happy unless my costume was from the same comic universe. Plus, a Spider Man mask would be a bitch to drink beer through.

apparently there is some potential for crossoverage (Spike and Angel have already appeared in Buffy, even if it was just a dream sequence) but its not on the immediate cards.
in all honesty i think the fact that Whedon has given it his approval/had involvement boded well
then again i thought that about SF being involved in etc etc
out in 2 weeks anyway, so we shall see. Certainly the Dragon thing floats my boat.

Nicely done. I just picked up the first LXG TPB at a LCS firesale (BFF, IMO, IIRC, and LOL, as well), but I read the article anyways and had a rollicking good time. Hyde as 20th Century Man? The way you phrased that sentence had me thinking, "Man, this guy has written papers for grades before." lol
BTW, pencil me in for a Seattle trip this year AGAIN. lol But this time it's looking to be in March, and I've got my girlfriend in tow (plus decent salary) in tow, so I'm like 89% sure it's happening.

Sprunk - i DEMAND you review Astonishing X-Men next.
Serioulsy tho - can we have a big spoilery chat about issue 23, it was one of the best things i have read in ages.
All i wanted to do after "What else have you lied about" was turn the page and see crimson - and that is what i got. I literally laughed out loud and punched the air.
not to mention Kitty's acting and 'Excalisuck'.
"Damn Summers"

Was a fantastic issue. I wish they didn't ocme out so sporadically; now I've got to hunt down the last ten or so, or wait until the trade comes out and I can sneak into Barnes & Noble to re-read them all.

yeah, that bit was totally unclear in fairness - i didn't really get what was supposed to have happened to the Hulk.
was it supposed to be a cure of some kind?
think Hulk (charactyer perception wise) came out of it pretty well though - i really like this incarnation and i hope that's not the last we see of it.

Rick is not dead, he was carted off to a hospital at the end. At least I think he was, at that point I completely lost interest, thanks to the "artist", and the story particularly didn't help either. I think I should just stop reading about characters I don't care about: first overall dissapointment with new Thor, now this. The only thing I really liked about WWH (discounting the stuff like Irredeemable Ant-Man and Avengers: Initiative tie-ins, cause they were basically doing they own stuff, with Hulk shown in few panels), was WWH: X-Men. Shame they are lumping it together with things like Ghost Rider WWH tie-in for TPB.
What happened with Hulk at the end is anyone's guess. To me, it looked like the Hulk persona was teleported back in time to the point when that planet exploded so he could die with his wife. Of course, it was probably a metaphor of some kind, but lately Stark was doing lots of crazy stuff with his tech, so who knows...
