If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

For the first time in my life! All by myself. :D I've vaccumed 3 rooms and a kitchen + a toilet, I've dusted all the rugs outside, I've removed all the christmas-ornaments, finnally.

I've also taken out the rubbish, including several pounds worth of ads, put up a bloody sign that I don't want no more bloody ads, and washed up about a month worth of dishes.

Oh, and about 4 days ago I cleaned the toilet-seat, also a first in my life.

I really feel quite proud now. :)

As a final deed for tomorrow, when I have some friends over for a game of Lan for a few hours, I'm going to acctually take a shower (haven't showered for 3 weeks... :sweat: ) and shave off most of my beard and stash.

Infact... I just re-read the original post... i'm actually speechless by, well, all of it to be honest. Don't get me wrong, congrats for finally doing all this but honestly...

dude, do you live alone or something cos by the sounds of it either you do or the people you live with are the most acommodating people in the world!!

(although i can quite understand the not bothering to shave for a while, i often can't be arsed and for someone that can pretty much grow a beard in under a week...)

or maybe i'm just bitter and twisted because i cleaned the kitchen again when i got home from work this evening...

What can I say.. I've always been spoiled by a mother that pampered me so much that sometimes even I thought it was a bit silly...

I currently live alone, and have been doing so for about 5 months, since my mom moved out, because she got married with a new guy. (I've told some details about that somewhat shady event before..)

And well, I've never really had the need to do any big-ass cleaning job yet, but this was it.

Feel like a new man. :) And shaving me blasted beard often is a pain, instead I try to groom it now and then. :(

Preds, it sounds like after all that cleaning you'd need a shower, and a belt sander.
