Transfest US?

I'm going to be in Asheville, North Carolina, an absolutely gorgeous place, in April. Anyone from the region feel like taking a drive into the mountains? Somebody's in South Carolina, I know.

The idea is sound.

An american TransFest has the potential for some awesome stuff.

However, the ultimate would be a carefully planned one in NYC, or, in Oregon!

We'd have to have the cover give homage to a location in the US that was featured most prominently, I'd say.

Ideas?

I have a few for this years UK-based Transfest, but those belong in the other thread.

Shreveport, Louisiana. About 4 hours from Shanti. Not sure where LROP is. NE Texas is potentially VERY close to me since Shreveport is 10 miles from Texas.

Freakin huge state next door.
Oh yeah, and anything Im at is the best place to be. Even the proctologist.

probably a 8-10 hour drive, you can get from easttexas to St. Louis, Missouri in 12 hours. (In reference to how longit would take to get to NC)

About 2 hours east of dallas along I-20. Pretty much halfway between dallas and the LA border.
