I noticed recently that you had to pay for Edonkey... so, what other P2P is free and worth it?

If you want to stick with the ed2k network, you could try eMule.

For the Gnutella network, there's Bearshare and Limewire, both in free and Pro versions.

If you want a pretty comprehensive list of p2p software out there, you could always try looking on wikipedia.
