But, he's great in Championship. He scored over 15 goals for Derby last season. And he was a star while playing for Spurs reserves in that reserve league.

He's just not good enough for Premiership. Or something.

...

Couldn't one of your guys break his legs during a training? Sometime in April, so he won't be fit for World Cup?

I heard the "he's great in the Championship" rationale for us signing Ricardo Fuller. Didn't bloody well work out. :(

He'll be right at home in our squad then. Dsh dsh cymbal.

It's not that I hate him, it's just that our national coach loves him too much. No matter how weak he is, Rasiak usually plays in the first team, and we do have much better forwards (the one who plays in Celtic, the one who just moved to Wolverhampton, and the one who plays in Borussia Dortmund, and there are few others). Jesus, Gregor didn't score even one goal during World Cup qualifications. He shouldn't even be taken into consideration for the finals. But I bet he'll go and play in the first team...

And I would really prefer that when we face the inevitable ass-kicking (otherwise known as Poland vs. Sweden or Poland vs. England) in the second round (provided we get thourgh the group stage), we'd have two good forwards and a fighting chance rather than one wooden post up front and a tactical deficiency.

That would be it. Last time I saw Heskey play (against France during Euro 2004) he presented very similar style.

Why couldn't he be our answer to Jan Koller?

I dunno man. Hesky looks like a brute on his day. Gregor looked stoned every time he played for our first team. He is effing tall, but couldn't win a ****** header?

Oh well, it didn't work out for him, he's gone now. Looks like we'll make europe this year, I fancy us to sign somebody effing swish to go up front in the summer.

I'd far rather have our keeper and CBs. Not sure about fullbacks.

If your defence was better, you'd be closer to Chelsea. Look at that Blackburn shambles.

Should be Ledly and Terry as Englands CBs.

Nah, our two center mids are ***** and dont cover our back properly.

In all honesty, United play pure attacking footy, they are cavlier, and need two decent center mids, which we will get in the summer so im told

Fletcher? - oh and that o'shea lad, and I think this highlights it perfectly, Rio Ferdinand!

We got wingers in giggs, ronaldo, richardson and park
forwards are Ruud,Rooney,Saha,Rossi and ole gunner?
Backs are Nevile,Rio,Brown,Henzie,Silvestre,Vidic,Evra,Pique
Mid, Smith,Fletcher,o'shea

That mid is sorely lacking class, its not that I dont think Smith and Fletch dont put the effort in, but they are hardley Gerrard or Lampard or someone else like that, still im told that we are gonna sign two big names we have chased for 2 years in the summer, perhaps then we can challange Chelski.

Interesting stat, last time united won the premm by 18 points, they had less points at this point in the season then they do now! - Chelski have raised the bar alot!

At least today Middlesborough(sp?) have shown that Chelsea can be beaten if a team will have a go. The likes of Man utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham have to seriously improve to catch Chelsea next season because most of the games they've played this season they;ve cruised, they could probably have moved up a gear in a lot of games.

odd one this, United play caviler football, they throw it all forward and play positive football, this is why united are popular because they are good fun to watch.
Chelski play like robots, they are footbal efficant, but boring as we all know. unless united drop the fun factor they wont win again, Chelski are to efficant.
Personally I hope united do win, f they get 2 new midfielders they might, I hope they keep playing positive footy tho

Wow.

Liverpool have pissed in Arsenal's hair and face all game, finally got the goal.

The bottom really has fallen out of the Arse this year - Puntastic!

Wait till Henry leaves in the summer - No CL footy a real possibility on the back of their outlay for the new ground....

They'd be ****!

Just a touch annoyed that we have thrown away so many points by letting in last minute goals all the bloody time, we'd be well clear otherwise!

I totally agree, chelsea can be beaten, look at villa last week, it wasn't so much we held them to a draw, but they held us to a draw, we had plenty of chances to wrap the game up but there goalkeeper was in fantastic form.

Although, one defeat won't destroy them just like it didn't destroy man utd when villa beat them 3:1 on the first day of the season, in fact it was from then they went on and had such a great couple of years, that even I was willing them to win the champions league. Back then though man utd had players I respected and admired, and who put the club before anything. Now they have players who are very dislikable, petulant and couldn't give two shakes for either the club's history or the manager which both deserve better

Don't want this to get into a soddin argument, but I think that you'll find most football supporters dislike many of the utd players like rio, ron etc not because lack of skill but by the way they behave. Just about all the people I know who still support man utd like their skills, but dislike their attitude. Personally, man utd in second place is a crisis to many of their supporters, (perhaps not you impy) but just about every other team in the division have had many more and worse things than man utd, good luck to them buying the title back, just like chelsea did, then I hope fergie can go into retirement before the stress kills him. (not trying to be funny, but serious at his age he just doesn't need the stress.)
