Do you have the Two Fingers My Friends bonus disc? TFMF was released as a double album (limited to 1000 copies or something) as well as the regular version, lots of good mixes on there too. Lemme know if you don't have it and I'm sure I can wing it over somehow...Brendocon wrote:And how many PWEI songs did they record? [/dog with a bone]
I really like Fluke's remix of RSVP...
Ob - somehow I pictured In Flames as, well, kinda flamey.
I have no discs.Metal Vendetta wrote:Do you have the Two Fingers My Friends bonus disc? Just what I've downloaded through slsk.
I'm a remix whore at the moment.

I think broadband and Audiogalaxy, and then broadband and WinMX might have been.Brendocon wrote:... than Soulseek and a broadband connection?
Sadly, broadband became a widow, twice.

Odd question Emvee.. Was TFMF a NEW album or was it just a renaming of DDMA? cause thats the album name in the states. I know it means the same thing which is why I ask.Metal Vendetta wrote:Do you have the Two Fingers My Friends bonus disc? Ha, now you've gone and done it. You ready?Optimus Prime Rib wrote:Odd question Emvee.. Was TFMF a NEW album or was it just a renaming of DDMA? cause thats the album name in the states. I know it means the same thing which is why I ask.
In the UK TFMF was a remix album - it contains all of the tracks from DDMA but remixed by other artists. Some are almost unrecognisable - for example I'm not convinced that The Orb's remix of Home contains any elements of the original track at all, while some are quite close to the originals.
Track listing:
Ich Bin Ein Auslander (Fun-da-mental Mix)
Kick 2 Kill (Jim Foetus Seersucker Mix)
Familus Horribilus (Jah Mega Wob #2)
Underbelly (Renegade Soundwave Blackout Mix)
Fatman (The Hoodlum Priest Fatboy Mix)
Home (Orb Sweet Sin And Salvation Mix)
Cape Connection (Transglobal Underground Cossack In UFO Encounter Confusion!)
MeNoFearTheReeper (The Concrete No Fee, No Fear Mix)
Everything's Cool? (Youth's Safe As Milk Mix)
R.S.V.P. (Made In Japan, Live At The Budokan Double Live Gonzo Frampton Comes Alive And Dangerous At The Filmore East Apollo 440 Mix)
Babylon (Loop Guru Babylon A Dub Fire Mix)
Here in the UK there was a very limited edition 2CD version of TFMF. The second CD contains these tracks:
Ich Bin Ein Auslander (Die Krupps Mix)
Familus Horribilus (Higher Intelligence Agency W.Y.G. Mix)
Cape Connection (Golden Claw Musics Cloak And Dagger Mix)
Intense
C.P.I. #2
Cape Connection (Transglobal Underground Aliens, Bodacious Aliens Mix)
Everything's Cool? (Youth's Dragonfly Mix)
R.S.V.P. (Fluke Lunch Mix)
Cape Connection (Secret Knowledge Trousered Up Mix)
Underbelly (The Drum Club Bugsong Mix)
In the UK DDMA was released with the catalogue number INFECT10CD - the 10th CD to be released on their Infectious label (R.S.V.P was INFECT1CD and all the releases from DDMA would be labelled this way) while TFMF was released as INFECT10CDR to signify its status as a different yet obviously similar product. The limited version of TFMF was called INFECT10CDRX and is quite hard to get hold of these days - I bought it on day of release and I've not seen it for sale anywhere since. In the US they would have been released on Trent Reznor's Nothing label but with very different catalogue numbers - I have the US Amalgamation CD which was released on Nothing/Interscope with the catalogue number 95887-2, and that contains three tracks which appeared on the UK DDMA (R.S.V.P., Ich Bin Ein Auslander and Familus Horribilus, although they are slightly changed from their UK versions) plus C.P.I. #2 and Intense, the Apollo 440 12" mix of R.S.V.P. (I'm pretty sure this is the Made In Japan, Live At The Budokan Double Live Gonzo Frampton Comes Alive And Dangerous At The Filmore East Apollo 440 Mix, just with a shorter and less silly name) and the Fun-Da-Mental 12" remix of Auslander, which seems to be the same as the one on TFMF.
I think there were more mixes on the Ich Bin Ein Auslander CD but I can't find it right now.
R.S.V.P. and Familus Horribilus had their own separate remix CD (INFECT1CDX) which was supposed to be stamped with a "PWEI LTD number" but wasn't, and contains Familus Horribilus (Jah Mega Wob #1) which is unavailavle elsewhere and (Jah Mega Wob #2) which was on TFMF. It also contains R.S.V.P. (Made In Japan, Live At The Budokan Double Live Gonzo Frampton Comes Alive And Dangerous At The Filmore East Apollo 440 Mix) and the 7" Mix, both of which were also released on the regular single (INFECT1CD) along with the 7" Mix of Familus Horribilus and the Higher Intelligence Agency W.Y.G. Mix, later also included on TFMF CD 2.
Everything's Cool also had a remix CD (INFECT9CDX), this contained the Youth 7" Mix (which is quite different to the DDMA and single version), the Safe As Milk and Dragonfly remixes plus R.S.V.P. (Fluke Supper Mix), unavailable elsewhere.
There were more mixes on the vinyl versions but that would involve getting the records down off the top of the wardrobe to check. Maybe later.
