Tranfans Newbie Of The Year Awards 2005: TITLE BOUT!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Well, IMO there are only three serious contenders: Autobloke, Scraplet, and Dalek (mainly because I didn't pay enough attention to any of the others' posts). I have to go with the fellow Who fan whom I already know from two other boards (the archive and Outpost Gallifrey).

Autobloke! :D 'Cus he's loveable. And he makes comics. And, he's a dashing young fellow once his scabs have healed.

In my opinion a rimjob is more personal.

Autobloke ran off to cry the moment somebody levelled criticism at him for his annoying spam habit and hasn't had the stones to come back yet. Doesn't get my vote.

Dalek's only a recent addition and is allegedly me. Batman was discounted for allegedly being me so I must refrain from that vote on principle.

Scraplet gets the vote. :(

We all know you are, because we're all Brend too (except Predabot and apparently Batman (although not too sure about that one)).

Hah! I knew it! :p

It would appear in the poll, as if we see a strong trend towards Scraplet, however, Inflatable Daleks been catching up recently. Could still wager over towards Dalek.

I didn't 'run off crying' as you suggest. I simply came to the conclusion that enjoying Transformers here wasn't worth the downside of having to deal with people like you. Sometimes I may regret that choice because there are people here that I do still like, but I've found forums that are considerably more welcoming than this one ever was.

Hey, why the sad face Brend? Progress by default has been the pattern of my life. By voting for me you have reinforced the karmic tendencies of my existance and brought balance to the force. You've made the universe a better place :D . So, you can smile :)

Who else requires enlightenment? Form an orderly queue.

Edit: Hi 'bloke, long time no see! :)

Seemed like it to me. And I didn't suggest, I stated.
I simply came to the conclusion that enjoying Transformers here wasn't worth the downside of having to deal with people like you.
People who happened to agree with the staff that your spam habit was annoying and unnecessary? Because voicing that was the extent of my involvement with you.
but I've found forums that are considerably more welcoming than this one ever was.
If being "welcoming" involves enthusiastically greeting every worthless post and reply-for-the-sake-of-it, and pretending that you weren't spamming, then I can live without being it.
Brendocon wrote:Doesn't get my vote.

I'm sure you'll find a way. If you've managed to get so bent out of shape solely from a fact-based justification of why I'm not voting for you, then you've at least shown development from the "run off somewhere else" approach you took when Besters told you off.

And congratulations for finally having the stones to come back.
Grrr. Argh.
