I did. And it was quite grand, I've never seen it so... vibrant. It was not stationary as it is ussually, it moved, in twirls whirls and flowed like a spring-brook. Stretching over good big piece of the ink-black sky.
Not just in the mundane green of yesteryear, but also with lush hues of greenish blues, and ghostly red and purple at it's rims.
It was quite fascinating. On a starch-cold night, 68* fahrenheit. The sun, must have raged much last night, wrecking havoc with it's charged blood, spitting it at our planet.
I saw the northern light last night.

Sweeeet.
I have seen the Pyramids, the Great Wall, snorkeled with reef sharks off the coast of Tahiti, etc. but the grandest display of wonder I have seen was when I visited Alaska two years ago and our boat passed into a pride of killer whales.
I have seen many surreal things, but that really took me to cloud nine. Didn't get the chance to witness the Aurora Borrealis though.
What are others 'cloud-nine' moments? (let the risque comments commence!)
