Got our's tonight, T minus 45 mins. Somewhat lower key than last year's (no flights to Edinburgh, free night in swish Loch-side hotel, oh no... night in bar in good ole London Taawn this year) bash, but still, the promise of food and more importantly FREE BOOZE, is always one to lull me out of my seasonal stooper.
I just hope it doesn't end up with me (somehow) picking up a couple of hookers by drunkenly asking for directions... then later getting robbed whilst falling asleep on the last tube home and waking up in Epping... oh the laughs i've had...
Still, at least we're not the 'party-in-the-office' type of place, those normally end up even more embarrasing from past expereinces!

Sounds fun, either way. Do tell!
Mine wasn't an "official" Christmas work party. Basically it consisted of a bunch of us gathering together, sitting around, listening to tunes/dancing once drunk enough and playing drinking games. After awhile though, people began making up their own rules. It became very grade school when the "If you point at someone, you have to kiss them" rule came into effect, but no one cared as we were all drunk at that point. We were just drunk enough to think it all hilarious.
Unfortunately, I'm a pointer. And people kept frigging pointing at me. I kissed a lot of people that night. Not like, makeout kissing, but still. I think I kissed everyone at least once.
Oh well. At least I didn't come home from the party with someone else's clothes or anything like I did at Halloween. It was just a tie, but still clothes...

We had our work party last weekend. It was fun.
We went to a club, where there was lots of dancing and nice food. Some percussion performance, and a famous dutch singer as mystery guest who did a half-our performance.
There was lots of drink but since I had to work the day after and because I did not want to do anything I might regret, I just a two glasses of wine.
And today we got a Christmas gift as well! It was a voucher for something fun, you could choose from a lot of things (bungy jump, classical music concert, trip to the zoo, chocolate making workshop, etc.) so I will have to decide what to do with it.
