It helps if you are familiar with the R Kelly video "Trapped in the Closet" which I think can still be found at his website, though it's not essential.
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

Not only the religions are onto the March of the Emperors - I heard some liberals complained that the movie doesn't shows enough non-monogamic and gay behaviour...
Do these people ever realise that this is a documentary?
Next thing I know, women's rights organisations will want to replace David Attenbourough with a female narrator...

I heard that for some languages, it was narrated as a documentary, but for at least one (French, I think), they wrote a whole dialogue for it.

The director of the movie was just on BBC1 saying that 85-90% of penguins don't have the same partner year to year.BB Shockwave wrote:Not only the religions are onto the March of the Emperors - I heard some liberals complained that the movie doesn't shows enough non-monogamic and gay behaviour...
Did anyone ever see those old Walt Disney "Wonderful Word of Nature" movies? In one of them they had film of scorpions dancing a waltz. When I first saw that, I was completely inder the belief that scorpions danced like people did, until my dad told me about film editing, reversing and the like. Basically, any bit of footage can be used to tell any kind of story. It doesn't matter what the scientific facts reveal, because, hell, it's on the cinema screens, it must be true.

YEp... Thank goodness for us animals don't behave exactly like humans. IN that case most of them would be extinct by now... Which we'll be sooner or later.Metal Vendetta wrote:The director of the movie was just on BBC1 saying that 85-90% of penguins don't have the same partner year to year.BB Shockwave wrote:Not only the religions are onto the March of the Emperors - I heard some liberals complained that the movie doesn't shows enough non-monogamic and gay behaviour...

I remember the movie 'Desert Show' or at least that's what I think it was called where the sahara's animals eat from some tree's fruits and become drunk in the process. Yep, drunken giraffes, elefants, baboons, etc... Only years later did I learn the makers of the movie did put alcohol into the fruit on purpose so they can film it...
