I can't believe no-one else in the audience dressed up. Then again, loads of people wanted their picture taken with me, so it was kinda nice to be a bit of a celeb for the night. And with any luck, no-one will recognise me.

Went to the pub for a quick one on the way home and bumped into my (black) friend Omar, who just happened to be wearing a similar hat. He saw the funny side, but I felt really guilty and had to go home and wash.

I'm now drinking out of my Papa Lazarou mug
