Ooooh..! Nifty!

Especially the part where they mention CYCLOPS glasses coming flying off, because of something. Since there's been a small question on wether or not he will be in the movie.

I wonder... will it be the same guy that will be playing Colossus as in X2? I know we'll be having our 3'rd version of Kitty tho.

Im torn with this. The guy playing Collosus in X2 was hot, but he was also a yank. So I'm hoping they get someone else in who can do a decent russian accent!

Yeah, Colossus without the Russian accent isn't really Colossus. No mention of Nightcrawler, though.

Nightcrawler's not in it.
Colossus is the same guy as in X-2. I quite liked him.
The Cyke thing I heard was more to do with how long he's going to be in the flick rather than not showing up at all.

I'm with Spidey on this. Initially this film looked like it was going to blow. Every report makes it sound better and better, but nothing special, and little reason to get particularly hyped.

The Marvel panel I was at 2 weeks ago, all 3 of the writers who had read the script - or that version of the script, seeing as they were under the impression Gambit was still cameoing, which has recently been said to have been taken out - said it was off-base and weren't too enthused about how it would turn out. Which I thought was interesting.

Looking forward to seeing the trails and everything, of course. Hoping it will be good. Thanks for the heads-up.

Nightcrawler by nature is a swashbuckler, a charmer. He is charasmatic and likeable.

In X2 he was a messily tatooed comic relief.

Granted, the opening sequence with his teleportation in full flow was excellent, but the rest of his contribution to the film was average at best.

Perhaps they will mention Nightcrawler, say he's off on a pilgrimage or something.
But, despite info on X-3 often being contradictory and changing back and forth, everyone seems certain he's not in it at all.

I prefer Nightcrawler to be characterised in the way you mentioned Hound, but didn't think the film portrayal was bad. Cumming was great, IMHO.

The Gambit cameo thing is one of the things that keeps changing. Currently, he's not supposed to be in it at all, either.

And if the Cyclops stuff that's been leaked is true...yeah, something.

Only thing I particularly want to see is the Beast. The rest sounds very meh.

I think the swashbuckling, charmer version of Nightcrawler wouldn't have fitted with the plot and background he was given in the film. It's something that makes more sense once he's been in the team dor a while.

ISTR he was one of the names that came up on the computer screen when Mystique was looking for Magneto in X2.

So who's the main villain this time? Old Magneto is getting real boring after a while. They should drop in Sinestro or someone... or the SEntinels... I don't think one movie would be enough for Apocalyps.

Yeah, that computer screen is full of cool text cameos.
This time around he was supposed to physically appear. He went from 'background character in a few scenes with maybe a line, to background character in one scene but you see him use his powers, to not actually in it at all, sorry.
Bah.

Cool pics. Angel looks a bit bleh. Beast not as cool as I was hoping, but hey.

Nah, lots of folk are having problems with the trailer. I can't get it to work either, at the moment, tho I am assured it works.
*Got it working now - needed to have iTunes installed even tho my Quicktime was latest version anyway.*

OK, first impressions - this blows.
Second impressons - okay, it's not amazing but it's only a teaser and they're still working on it.

Plot leak looks on the money re: Cyclops.
Beast looks crap in some shots.
Angel's wings look crap.
Wolverine doing generic action hero pose - check.
Wolverine doing Clint Eastwood impression - check.
Wolverine and Storm - the Movie.
Fastball special!
Magneto and Phoenix effects look great. The others not so much.
Needs work. Which it will get of course.

If you go to the official site, the trailer appears to play constantly in a small tab on the main page.

edited several times: yeah, it is a boring plot, the cure has been done to death, but hey, guess they figure it's an easy hook. The main story is supposed to be Phoenix.

I don't think it's Jean's at all tbh, but it's a possibility.

I think that's the Prof's funeral at the mo'. That's Moira on the end there.

edit: supposedly the last X-movie. Wolverine and Magneto solo flicks are still green lit, and they are supposed to be writing a third spin-off that no-one knows anything about yet.

Hank is wearing his NXM jacket. Cool.

I spotted that Hank was in his NXM kit. Then I remembered that NXM had them in leather because they wore leather in the films anyway.

Rewatching the trailer makes it better. But gah it hurt my eyes first time.
Storm is like a video game character. That move she does...swear I've seen her do that in the X-Men Legends games...
