If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

What day is it exactly? We don't have halloween here, so I am going to my grandfather's birthday this weekend.

I don't know if I'll be doing anything or not. If I do stumble into some form of function, I have my all purpose thematic costume ready.
"What are you meant to be?"
"Hapless victim."
No horror is complete without them!
Cool. Maybe Batman will make an appearance?
Grrr. Argh.

Which party? The Canadian girls or my next-door-neighbours? Or neither? I'll probably be stopping by both of those at some point, alcohol permitting, though I was hoping to recruit a few zombies from to pub crawl so we can turn up with a proper horde and try to smash the barricades...

unfortunately i'd doubt any of them would know who he is... they'd just think you were a freak in a sparkly jumpsuit, with giant platform shoes and a bad wig... which is a fair description of Glitter anyway...

October 31st, so this coming Monday.
"October 31st, 2005. Hallowe'en.
November 1st, 2005. And none of the TransFans who survived the unspeakable horrors of previous night were ever the same again...
TransFans Hallowe'en 2005 - Forum of the Banned"
I'd read it.
If Aaron wrote it.

It is the duty of every man to say (on or as near to Halloween as poss) "aaaaaaaaargh, get that horrible mask off!"
Trust me, they'll love it.

There are goth girls + boys everywhere up here, as well as people often wearing various forms of the trad or slutty costumes for a night out, so the only extra halloween fun is looking for the imaginative costumes
Best costume spotted: a bloke dressed as a dice.
Being rolled down the street by his two mates.
...Bubba Ho-tep is great.

Gah. Kids came round last night, four of them. Had nothing appropriate in the house ("Here kids, try these blue pills!") so I gave them a copy of Infiltration #0 each. This morning, I discovered torn TF comic pages all over my front garden. This makes me angrier than anything else I have ever encountered before. If you read about four children being murdered in north London, please make a donation to my defence appeal. Thanks.

I generally tell trick or treaters to sod off. I don't remember being allowed to run a protection racket when I was eight.
Fortunately I was undisturbed last night.
At least I think I was. My doorbell doesn't work and people in Stives don't have the mental capacity to figure out "banging on the door".
Grrr. Argh.

I had a scary story-telling contest. Most of the stories ended up goofy instead of scary.
Who the **** would tear up comics on Halloween? Is it so hard to read about giant robots? Lots of people give out comics. I think you should kill the kids, Robvee.

The annoying thing is there was a bunch of kids outside my house making noise last night, but I don't know if it's the same ones since the Trick-or-Treaters were all wearing masks, obviously

I'm stumbling into this late, but so what.
[hi, I'm still alive etc etc]
Went out to a raunchy wild party on the Sat dressed as a pirate, ended up proposing to someone, telling a guy I loved him , and asked one of the girls I was with if she'd be my girlfriend. So it was an interesting night all 'round. Another party Sunday night [was a work party, Sun was decided upon since the majority didn't work late that evening] again dressed as a pirate... was in someone's apartment, things got a bit out of hand once a friend and I started getting people to do shots [peer pressure!], things got broken and I came home with one of my supervisor's ties. Was a bit embarrassed by the chaos Mon morning but things turned out alright.
So, whoo. Was supposed to go out again this Sat but have to go back home. So I'm only going out Fri night.
