Haha.
I laugh at Robert "I'm too good to try and score from a penalty" Pires.
Not sure what the referee's doing giving a free kick, though. It's possible that "taking the piss and being rubbish at it" is now a proper offence. Which I applaud completely.
Wigan are doing good.
And, [composite word including 'f*ck'] me, Saints actually won a league game for the first time in ten. Theo! Theo! Theo!

i think its great how well Wigan are doing, shows its not all predictable and you can do well with a smallish budget. They could be safe by xmas at this rate.
once again the gap at the top opens up not because Chelsea are good but because the challangers already aren't up to it 9 games in - can't blame Chelsea for that.
Fair play to spurs.
I see Gibson has had a coded go at Maclaren about boro's tactics, if we don't win tomorrow we are really adrift.

Go Wigan.
I dont blame Chelski as its hard to blame a club - but I think footballs about to get a bit boring for along time.
Ie Chelski continue to buy players and build impossible to beat squads that monkey could manage and win with. im sorry but if i had infinite cash I could win the premm too.
and due to this Chelski will dominate for ever...
5 years from now. no ones watching anymore.

How is this drastically different from it always being one of 2 clubs?
Unless of course you support one of those 2 clubs...
yawn.

I rekon u could get any prem manager and stick him in chelski and they could win.
*cough*So instead of a two horse race which was marginaly interesting
or Man U or the Arse raise themselves to having any semblance of game. ****ing pussies.now u have a 1 horse race. and its not going to change unless Abrom gets bored.

why doesnt boro raise thier game and win the premm? - thats right they dont have as many super star players as Chelski, nor do United. and never will.simple as.
Have u seen thier new youth system? they are buying every kid in the land under 18, its bollox. no team will have a look in any more.
Chelski will be winning this show for aslong as Abrom wants to - welcome to the end of football.

i think it is technically termed 'Man U Whining'.snarl wrote:That is scared talk.
Chelsea are doing exactly what Man U have been doing for almost a decade but on a slightly bigger scale - oh! suddenly it is wrong and terrible. Quick, pass me the ladder to the high horse.
and ooh ah! its the end of football! Football will only ever be interetsing ever asgain if Roman leaves (and Man U win the title again) oh! oh! save me! save me!
Yeah, because if it is a genuine threat to the game there is no way the FA or the PL will step in is there. What? oh.
whatever. Man U and Aresnal are the problem, not Chelsea. We're 9 games in for ****s sake and you have both had your worst starts ever - oh, but somehow this is Chelsea's fault. yeah yeah.
Chelsea:
Hilarious manager? - check
Developing English Players? - check
Fans still less anoying the Man U? - check
my god, its the end of the world.
change the record.

Does Chelsea really have that many "super-stars"? OK, there's Lampard, we could say Drogba is too, who else? Terry, Cech? Is Joe Cole, Duff, Gallas, or those Portugueses really super-stars, or simply good, solid players? Doesn't United or Arsenal really have those anymore?
In Poland, people are bitching about Chelsea having bought their titles, which is hilarious, considering that our best team have been doing exactly the same thing for about seven years now. But, no, that is good, because they beat AC Parma at UEFA Cup. Also, those here who support Barcelona are pissed off at Chelsea (even more than others becuase they got beaten at Champions League last season), but Barca have bought themselves brand new attack (we're talking about the likes of Ronaldihno, Larsson, Eto'o and Deco) and few others and they merrily marched through Primera Division, which again isn't a bad thing, but Chelsea are bad.
Silly.

Thing is, everyone was taking the piss when they bought Drogba, saying he was a rich man's Heskey, but he has clearly got better under Jose's management and this season he looks leathal.Ozz wrote:Does Chelsea really have that many "super-stars"? Its all very well saying anhy manager could do it but if you compare the way players are developing at Chelsea and their ability to switch tactics to other teams in the prem there is obvioulsy more to it than that.

bull **** drogba is **** hes in front of a team that monkeys can score for.
United have actually started the season as well as they ever have ive checked the stats and they are in normal form, the difference being that chelski have a huge squad that will get better.
I dont care about arsenal not my problem.
Either way, doesnt actually matter if united or any other team is playing well chelski will be winning the league untill roman leaves the premm.
So that bollox saying the problem is united because they are playing as well as they have over the last 15 years.
if you can say united arnt pulling thier weight perhaps all the other ***** teams in the premm should poull thiers too eh? u cant blame one team because chelski are winning. u cant blame any of them, the problem is chelski have so much cash its a one horse race.
you tell me honestly, as chelski get stronger each year, do u see them losing the league? - no. so welcome to the end of footbal because no team will win the premm for along long time

honestly? i just don't care for your irrational man u whining. You have dropped almost a point a game so far, you think that should be good enough to challenge for the title? piss off.
i note you say you don't care about Arsenal, so once again it is apparent you aren't actualy interetsed in football being 'interesting' at all, your just peeved that your lot are s**** these days and there is a bigger kid in the playground.
Next you lot will be whining when someone launches a take over bid of your publicly owned company despite this situation having generated large amounts of revenue over the years and the fans themselves never having made a point of organising any long term share buying strategy.
what?
oh.
And i note that now a monkey can manage the team and a monkey can play up front as well and they will still win. Mmm, its really that simple isn't it? In Man U land ayway.
If you are bored of the premiership and you are 'worried' about grassroots football: buy a season ticket for your local team. simple.

to sum up.
United have 9 players out - ie: they will find it hard to match CHelski with 9 players out, dont you think?. but its worth noting there start to the season is as good as any other.
I dont care about arsenal because its not my place to defend thier team.
Chelski will continue to win because thier squad is massive, will get bigger, and better because they have more money.
Why does it fall to United to try and beat chelski? - why not any other pussy premm sides? your all in the same league perhaps you shouldnt all roll over and die when CHelski turn up.
1 horse race is good for the premm? - explain? this is good how?

the point is it makes no real difference to the vast majority of us than a two horse race.
so, not off to buy a season ticket for your local team then?
thought not.
The Man U of 5 years ago wouldn't have taken this lying down, you were in decline anyway, but oh, suddenly we have a new excuse. Lets milk it for all its worth shall we?
I assume you were a big campaigner when united had the most money, i can see you with your "down with this sort of thing" placard now. Yeah, right.
stop whining.

Awesome players - but Real Madrid hasn't really been dominating the past few years -> a bunch of great players doesnt equal succes.
Chelsea might win everything this season - but the next season they might be crap. The players might think "Last season I only played a total of 25 games (because of the squad size). [composite word including 'f*ck'] it." Other players might feel "I've won everything there is to win.. meh. I'm not 'hungry' anymore" or whatever, and POW, they lose.

I thinnk most ppl view the premm through rose tinted sspecs, united were taken to the wire by Blackburn,Newcastle,Leeds,Arsenal - it was never 2 horsed untill about 3 years ago, then arse won it a few times.Best First wrote:the point is it makes no real difference to the vast majority of us than a two horse race.

United had cash, but it was never like Chelski, hell if u look back Leeds spent more cash then united, Newcastle had the most expensive player in Alan Shearer so cash doesnt come into it.
Chelski will dominate more then United did, and they will do it with no competition because they have more money then god.
As for United taking things lying down, like I said, United start to this season is the same as any other season they won it bar 01.
the Prem is over - yay for the 1 horse race.

No team can dominate for 100 years, Rosenborg's reign as Norwaigen (spelling?) champions is over after 13 years in a row for example so I can't Chelsea doing a Rosenborg in England.
Nice to see a newly promoted club doing well. What's the odds of Wigan Athletic getting into Europe at this rate? As a Man Utd fan, it's annoying to see Man Utd underfire (especially at Old Trafford) at the moment but I'd put that down to the tactics being used. Go back to 4-4-2 and United would be firing at all cyclinders, though long term injuries don't help.
I don't see how anyone could bemoan Chelsea's spending power when other clubs go transfer crazy with crazy money (Real Madrid, Barcelona, Wisla Krakow (whom I assume Ozz is talking about), Olympiakos, Panathinaios etc) or have so called "Sugar Daddies" (Fulham in the nationwide days for example) bankrolling them.
If Man United don't win the league, I'd rather have the likes of Chelsea, Charlton Athletic, Middlesbrough or even Wigan Athletic than Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City and Blackburn. Arsenal's hiliariousily bad non-penatly was high light of the weekend, you know you're rubbish if David James is laughing at your attempt.
