Brilliant music from Iceland.

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

A group called Sigur Rós. They make fantastic music - I can't place it in a genre though (Awesome/Original/Spacey..?).

Here you can listen to a song (or some songs, I don't know). It starts playing automatically.
EVEN BETTER; listen to the song, and see the video here

(or choose another quality/format here http://sigur-ros.co.uk/band/disco/takk-glosoli.php )

This is their official website.

They will start touring soon - I really recommend everybody to see them. It's a fantastic experience to see them live.

That is all.

Cheers :)

I love Sigur Ros, i saw them a few years ago touring with Radiohead, have been hooked ever since.

The singer sings in some made up language but the music is wonderful.

Amazing!

Thanks for the tip :) I still have a cd-voucher I didn't know what to buy for.

Also a (recent) admirer of their music. Someone at work told me I would like them. They were right.

Cheers for the info, Ob.
