If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Saw them live last night. 'kin quality. Utterly superb.
Lead singer blokey seems kinda awkward on stage and doesn't quite know what to do with his hands when he's not playing guitar (hence awkward holding behind head moments), but that just adds charm.
Almost got caught by guitarist's foot when he went crowdsurfing at the end.
Def recommend seeing them if you get the chance. Rock like motherwhatsits.
We Are Scientists and Cinematics are good, too.
Tonight - Serenity!
Grrr. Argh.

I had a backstage pass when they played Truck Festival and they put on a good show.
The album has some crackers but in its entirety is slightly samey I feel.

They padded the set out with a couple of low tempo calmer b-sides (I think) so that helped spread it out a bit.
I'm sure they managed to make Munich last several days...
Oh, and Transfest was so much better than your whole "Truck Festival" thing, Mr "I pretend to work for a radio station, so I don't want to spend time with you geeks".

Ain't that the truth - Sven, Impy, hen night girls and a blindness competition! What could compete with that?

It was called Truckfest. You were at Transfest.
Spookily similar names no?
I would've like to have been at both.
