It's like, dolphins are some of the world's smartest and friendliest creatures. They're exceptionally intelligent, and seem to have a natural empathy with people.

Anyone who has read Robert Merle's book (which's title escapes me for the moment) could have known they were doing this even back then...
I think that's real crime against nature... But, it's what we humans do, during history we have used pretty much all tameable animals for warefare. (Elefants, horses, dogs,etc). Of course, except cats. They are too intelligent to risk their hide for us...
