Ipod shopping!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Well, that would explain why we've never run into each other. The College of Law and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences don't share (m)any common buildings.

Gah, I'm back to deciding between an Ipod 20Gb and a Nano4GB(EDIT: I should mention the Ipod minis are now sold out at the store I get student discount at, and they aren't getting more)
Some of the extra features might take up more space, right? Like a podcast has to be stored on the unit, in general, whats the average file size for a podcast?

The Prof and Compy at the same college, sounds like someone is gonna get learned.

It's just an mp3 file. The longer the song or show, the larger the file.

Well, I looked over the music I like and generally I only listen to 1 or 2 songs over and over, with other older favorites in the back ground. I figure I'd only use 2 GB of music, but I could also have pics and podcasts take up the other half of a 4GB nano and still have room. Its not like I can't interchange music files when I get bored of the other ones.

Thanks Compy, when I posted that I thought it might have been a totally different filetype. Looks like 25MB per podcast on average is a safe bet!
