Just watched the first half dozen episodes. Not seen the series for about fifteen years. I'd forgotten just how good it is. Decent animation for its time, and a great baddy in Mumm-Ra. And it has the best theme tune ever!

Some of the new Thundercats comics were quite good (Dogs of War, and the one where MUmmra takes over THundera) But then came "Hammerhand's revenge"... 'shudder'
Btw, I found a Thundercats Marvel UK annual in an antiquevarie a few years ago. And, weird as it sounds, it contains a text story where the credits say "plot by: Simon Furman". Not a bad story, not that great either... Like most Furman text stories, although he only gave the idea, not wrote it.

"I've come to believe you are working for the enemy, Vervain. There is no other explanation... for your idiocy." (General Woundwort)

Dogs of War was wicked. Totally dark, loved it. The other one was Reclaiming Thundara, also another dark novel. Hammerhand's Revenge was one of those that came outta left field. All of a sudden there was some other bad guy? Artwork was rad but story lacked, still bought it though.....BB Shockwave wrote:Some of the new Thundercats comics were quite good (Dogs of War, and the one where MUmmra takes over THundera) But then came "Hammerhand's revenge"...
