If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

I wake up a lot earlier these days, usually 7:30/8am without artificial aid. Then I lie in until 10 before starting work :)
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!

I could call and get you up just as I'm turning in at midnight here.

**** init - you would think that Alex would have taken my mind of my Ex, but it didnt happen. even tho Alex is so much prettier, kinder and generally a better bird *see MV's post* im still feeling lonely without Andrea (my Ex) and I really miss her... im worried about her, and god [composite word including 'f*ck'] knows....

dont need this before Uni in 9 days.

Yeah, that happens. Hopefully at some point something will happen or someone will tell you something about her and you'll realise that it was never meant to be and you've been deluding yourself all this time and then the healing process can begin properly...

...for example the moment for me with ex-Mrs. V. was when I asked one of her friends how she was doing out in Mexico. She said: "Oh, she's fine. He's bought her a dog, a little yappy thing, not a big one like she wanted."

Then I realised, in quick succession:
1. I would never have bought her a dog. And if that's what it takes to make her happy then obviously I would have failed in that respect.
2. She lives in Mexico. If she wants to move back to the UK the dog will either have to spend six months in extremely expensive quarantine, or she'll have to leave it behind with someone there, or, I don't know, kill it or something.
3. She wanted a big dog. Considering she weighs 6 or 7 stones, how the hell was she thinking of controlling an animal that would probably be bigger than her?
4. I hate dogs.
5. I hate people who want to own big dogs, especially when they would be incapable of controlling the damn thing if it decided to toss the neighbour's kids around like rag dolls.
6. I'm so glad I have no part in her life any more.

I wish I'd learned all that a year ago, it would have made things so much easier. But so it goes...
I would have waited a ******* eternity for this!!!!
