Weird... Nghn!

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Weird... Nghn!

Had some kinda flu-type bug recently, and as a result, the right side of my jaw aches.

Anyway, just now, I tapped my jaw (it usually helps relieve the aching while eating, etc.) and found myself surprised that nothing changed on the computer screen.

Now, if I'd tried changing the tv channel with my mobile phone, I could understand, but interacting with the pc through my jaw?

Error in Rebis module at 0000 0052:6563 6973, methinks!

Anyone else do really weird things for no apparent reason?

People think I'm a bit off in general, in an oddball/kooky/"interesting" way, so I've been told. Though I'm not sure why/am not too sure I like that. So I'll have to just say "yes, apparently." and leave it at that.

I don't want to be all that "different", or what-have-you. I'm beginning to hate it when people tell me I am, though they generally mean it as a "good" thing.

[/slightly frustrated :p ]

I like to sing aloud. I sometimes reply to people who talk to me in song/random quotes; only half the time they realize it's a quote and I feel all let down and stuff.

Talking in quotes? 60% of what I say is cribbed from someplace or another...

As anyone with half a jaw (preferably the left half) knows, tapping there causes the lights to go out. Or maybe the tapper go blind. It's too dark to tell.

Whatever, tapping again brings the lights back. Tapping a third time, causes extra lights to appear, and has thus spawned many a tale of UFOs, Smiling people pointing skyward, and taking on the physical characteristics of a slightly portly John Travolta from the time when he was filming Phenomenon.

And I'm Rebis, so it must be true. ;)

The only videogame at my work is Dr. Mario. So when I work nights, i end up playing it for hours upon hours. The next day, I inevitably start putting cars and people in rows. I got sad in my Spanish class because the back row was three boys and one girl, and I couldn't wipe it out.

Also I can fold my ears into each themselves and they stay there.

A fellow Dr. Mario expert? We MUST play sometime, good sir. :)

I like to walk around and count my steps. I'll look forward to some landmark and try and guess the number of steps it'll take me to get there. Then I'll try and take that many steps. Or, if there's like squares of sidewalk, I'll try to take only two steps in each of them.

Sounds Rain Manish, but I hate math. Definitely hate math. Yeah. Definitely hate math. :)

If I twist or turn around on my axis for any reason I feel the irrational need to counter it with equal turns in the opposite direction. As if I'm gonna get twisted up in some invisible cord that I'm eternally connected to, or something........

If I'm in a social situation I have to find an excuse to serupticiously reallign myself!!

Ah well, we're all within the autistic spectrum to some extent.......
