This one I like best:
So evil!
And yet so cute!

No. I hate dog owners for not clearing up the mess their pets make. Cats come into my garden of their own volition, stare me out, and s**t in my garden like they own it. They also use my bird table as their personal resturant, and leave the scattered remains all over.Impactor returns 2.0 wrote:considering cats are genrally very clean, they dig a hole, poo init and cover it up.
do u hate dogs even more because they really do **** where they please.
I hate they way they stare at you while they are doing something nasty in your garden, as if you have no right to be there.
I keep a SuperSoaker by the kitchen window just for these occasions! There is only one regular cat who hasn't yet learned to run when I open the window. There is still time

The feeling is mutualImpactor returns 2.0 wrote:Cats no u dont like them so they taunt you...
Awwwwwww I was excited there for a minute.......none of them are cute either. Nasty, hairy, wildlife-exterminating, human-using freeloaders. I'd have them all wiped out.
One of my friends cats came home shaved down one side - it had been spayed They couldn't figure out who would have done such a thing. Feeling worried, they kept the cat inside. A few days later they got a leaflet through their door from one of their neigbours asking people to keep a look-out for their missing cat. The leaflet feature a large picture of my freinds cat
The mangy fleebag had been leading a double life - two houshold thinking they owned it while the nasty animal used them all to its advantage. These animals cannot be trusted. Be warned

This one reminds me of my cat.
Though my cat has never sat in the sink, as far as I can remember anyway... Place a piece of paper on the floor however, and she'll curl up on top of it as soon as she finds it. Same goes for small cardboard trays... she just waltzes right on up to the thing, sits, tucks her front paws underneath herself and sits there, looking at you like her odd habit is your fault.

Because a few **** in your flowerbed? I don't get that sort of attitude sometimes, I really don't. And it annoys the [composite word including 'f*ck'] out of me when people have a problem with one aspect of something but take it out on/blame the whole.
I dislike most small yappy dogs. Yet I now work with them almost every morning and I only dislike a couple of the individuals I do know (mainly because they are, surprise surprise, exactly what I dislike about small yappy dogs... yappy. Endlessly yappy.) Not all are yappy annoying little ankle biters, and some of them are actually quite adorable.
(But I still feel like I may break one if I try a tug-of-war with a rope toy, or if they jump out of my arms or something. Especially the mini-pinschers. They have amazingly spindly little deer-legs. [/tangent] )
Why not get angry with the cat's owners for not controlling their animal?
If the cats are strays, then take measures to keep the buggers out of your garden. Most cats dislike citrus. There's probably also types of plants you can grow that will help to keep them out of your space, there's probably a swakload of other stuff too but I don't have a cat problem so I'm not about to go looking.
And don't go "Ohhh, that's too much work to put up with for other people's animals!" You're the one that's bitching about it, if you want a solution then look for one. Call the SPCA/animal organization or something and talk to them about it if finding things out on your own is too much work for you. Hell, dump the cats on them, even.
I hate it when people go the "environmental" route whenever they have a problem with animals. "Ooh I hate them, blah blah blah... Oh, and they're damaging the environment. We all know damaging the environment is bad!". But I'll bet a good percentage of those same people don't think twice when they get into their vehicles and drive to work, turn on a light, use the toilet or take their trash to the bin.
Humans tend to be far nastier in some aspects and are definitely more wildlife-exterminating than cats ever could be. Cats, like rats, cockroaches, dogs, rabbits and other assorted animals were just given an oppertunity to expand. Use that large human brain of yours to figure out how to co-exist/find a way to work the problem in a more positive direction.
Older dogs left to their own in the home area tend to visit the same area when they need to use the toilet. My family has had up to 8 dogs at one time staying at our house and we've only ever had to clean 2-3 areas around our house. Puppies are like kids... At first they don't know a thing. Later, they can't always "hold it", but they learn.
Once they're away from home dogs will **** almost anywhere, yeah. Preference for areas where other dogs have gone before, though. Cats will do the same thing once in awhile... I've heard of cats that really did just take a dump wherever they pleased without bothering to take the "normal" cat care. And if you don't get a tom fixed, they spray. Hell, even then there's no guarantee they won't take it up at some point.
I've always found that really disgusting, personally. Animal piss, I mean. Solid waste, it's easy to see, usually easy to clean and the smell is usually gone once it's gone. Piss is another story completely. When an animal takes a piss it goes everywhere, accidently sitting in it is more of a possibility and if you don't clean it up immeadiately and/or with special cleaners then there's more of a likelihood of that area becoming a frequently-visited spot.

No, its not the s*** per se that annoys me. Its the 'personallity' (if they can be said to have one) of the animals and the way they do it that winds me up.
The cats walks into my garden. Its has defeated the other neighborhood cats to claim my garden as its territory. It then eyes me with what I can only describe as distaine, licks its bits and acts like it has a right to be there. This gives rise to a (perhaps unreasonable) primal rage in me, for this is my territory and any uninvited predator must bow to my superiority
So I chase the cat away.
I put down bark chippings in the kids play area. The cat decides this is his personal litter tray. This is annoying in itself, but when the cat gives me that look.......I tell you, it stares me out. Its challenging me. Its saying 'I can s*** here and there nothing you can do about it' The primal rage surfaces again. I 'escort' the cat off the premises ....
However, i have learned for this - the bark chipping are going and I'm going to put a plastic geotextile down instead. (Ha! got you Mr Cat )
I go to some pain to encorage wildlife. Cats come and kill it all. And I'm not allowed to kill the cat!!!!
If it was a fox, crow, or pigeon, I could shoot it!!!! (if i had something to shoot it with, which I haven't )
I am trying to humainly deter them ( thats what the supersoaker is for).
But you see, its not what they do, its the way they are that gets me. And the way that they only stay around because its benifits them, and if they gat a better offer they leave. There is no loyalty or anything. I just don't like 'em. Sorry
Maybe I fear them. It could be something primal, the same way some people fear snakes or spiders. Maybe I'm a Catophobe (or whatever fear of cats is).

And that's a very sweet picture.
I like cats just because they have a mind of their own. And because they don't always listen to you.
And of course because they are soft and cuddly and purr.
I want a cat!
