What? Brend recommending a DnB album? Eh?

If the Ivory Tower is the brain of the board, and the Transformers discussion is its heart, then General Discussions is the waste disposal pipe. Or kidney. Or something suitably pulpy and soft, like 4 week old bananas.

Yes, sportsfans, it's true.

The act are called Pendulum. The album is called Hold Your Colour. It's on Breakbeat Kaos and it will make your life better.*

Absolutely superb. A bit overlong in places, but wow. Just... brilliant.

Features cameos from Fats & TC, the Freestylers, Jasmine Yee, Fresh, $pyda & Tenor Fly. It's worth buying just for "Slam" alone.

Buy it, damn you.

* May not actually make your life better.

[EDIT] Oh, and it has a sample from the original Willy Wonka movie. If that's not reason enough to buy it, I don't know what is.
Grrr. Argh.

Excellent work, lad.

So far, I've been lucky enough to hear Slam and Fasten Your Seatbelt, and the latter alone has swayed me into acquiring this album at the first available opportunity.

Now, if they'd've played any Pendulum in Underworld on the weekend, I probably would've died.
