Voltron, the 1980s cartoon series about a series of space ships which combine to create a huge mechanical warrior, is to follow its contemporary and competitor Transformers to the big screen. Saving Private Ryan producer, Mark Gordon, has bought the film rights to the original Japanese series and will no doubt aim to capitalise on the buzz created by the announcement that Transformers is to hit cinemas in summer 2007
Grrr. Argh.
