Dilemma...

Many years ago, about the same time I was being a raver, doing loads of drugs I met a girl called Alex at college - she wasnt into what I did, but we were in love.
I slowly ****** my brain up and one day she left, to go work in greece, she asked me to go with her but I had done to much damage to myself by then.
She wrote to me on my birthday that same year, and 2 years later she called out of the blue, as she was in Bournemoth visiting her sister. I met her, but I wasnt well. she was worried about me, but there wasnt much she could do.

She went back to London to live with her mum - I spoke briefly with her on the phone years later when I had my old my buissness, then I lost contact.

Now here we are 3 years on from then, i still think about her, even when I have been relationships with other women I think of her...

Anyhows I have in the past search the internet for her, untill today, I type her name into Google image search and up she popped. my heart almost stopped.

Turns out she went to some acting college in London, seems a good one, and she has only just graduated this term.

Ok I have a route to contact her, but should I? - im not sure, should I just let it go, i mean im not thinking were gonna get back together or anything, but I cant help think I need to see her, my heart really does yearn for her. - oh I dunno.[/url]

I'd say drop her a line just to see how she's doing. If anything comes of it, then there y'are... better than wondering than what would have happened, ain't it?

It's better to try and contact her and be ignored than to not contact her and fret over what would have happened if you did.

Nothing ventured, et cetera.

Second that. No harm done in making contact, reminiscing about old times, etc. She'll see where you're at in your life, you'll see where she is, and things will go how they go.

I think we could be friends, I mean im not going to think anything more of it, we are naturally two very different ppl to the ones we were.

Oh well Ill call the Uni, leave them my number, they can give it to her, if she wants to see me, she can reach me that way.

I think you should go for it, I'm sure she'll atleast be relieved to know that youre former life didn't mess you up in any irreparable way. That youre ok. I'm sure she's thought about what was happening to you at a few times.

It'll probably be fun.

Seriously, thats really made my week, she just done aplay with martin freeman, and is now moving onto feature films, so I hope she doesnt get to famous for lil old me.

After meeting the fantastic blonde again at Transfest 05, I was quite rightly over the moon, then I felt a bit down as I didnt think id see her again.

well sod me I was obviously good on Saturday, I just got a txt shes comming to Bournemouth to do dinner with me on Friday!!

i must be stupid...

So i meet Alex Friday night, im looking mighty fine thanks to a new shirt. she looked to me like the best thing in the world. I am besotted with her. always have been for the last 6 years...

Anyhows we head for a fancy bar, a few drinks, everything is cool. we missed out time for a booked table, but we found another, posh resturant, at about 11pm and ate there till 12.30. it was quiet, with music but it was perfect ot of us were relaxed, having a good time. beginging to realise that we really do have everything in common.

so we left, walked up the road, i was lazy so we got a taxi across town to a really posh bar, where we sat and talked till about 2am. I was on top form, she was gorgeous, and things couldnt have been better.

Turns out all the things I used to ponder from our past she still thinks about. the conversation was just about anything u can imagine, and was sexually taught...

after that we walked back through the gardens into town, found yet another bar, got pretty pissed by this point but were just having a great time. more touchy feely things...

then It was late so I thought id walk her home, it began to rain and she looked ******* fit slightly wet, as did I.. lots of picking each other up for fun and stuff, untill just around from her house we stopped on a bowling green to talk utter **** at about 4am.

By this point she knew how I felt about her - and I knew she fancied me. she had obviously thought of me... I said goodbye, it couldnt have been better! - perfect

then it hit me, I wont see her again for ******* ages, im heartbroken (AGAIN!!) - was I stupid to put myself through this once more.

Honestly, we are made for each other, im sure her fiance is a great guy, but we are sodding it.
I love her, I miss her already.

My life is rarely ever fair to me.

From the sounds of things you're quite a styling kinda fellow - I'm sure you could easily find someone just as nice and worthy as this girl.
If she's already attached, your actual chances are slim, I'm afraid.

Mate, just play it by ear. From what you wrote, the night was perfect-you're in her head now-give her a chance to miss you and just see what happens. Given time, you never know what the outcome may be-I wish you all the best dude.
